I work exclusively on Architectural and Urban Design projects for a variety of Architects, Urban Designers, Developers and Landscape Architects. Over the years I have had the good fortune to have participated in a number of notable projects; Tate Modern, the Laban Centre and the Eden Project amongst others. I particularly enjoy aerial perspectives and waterside schemes. The portfolio demonstrates the range of my work the majority of which is either in watercolour or ink and crayon. I am also happy to produce fast sketches in any medium for early design studies and have found this an effective way to illustrate competition and bidding documents. With such work it is an advantage to be able to work in the studio with the design team. Although it is very useful to have at least a briefing meeting to discuss viewpoint and content many illustrations are completed without any such contact as both rough sketches and finished artwork can be transmitted electronically.
