Some of these images within the green futures gallery below were produced to illustrate a series of reports which looked at how cities could address the challenge of a zero carbon future. They worked well because drawings can communicate so much more in a limited space, bringing emotional connection and a sense of real possibility. A favourite, which is local to me, concerns the River Culm, its importance to the community and how it might be regenerated for truely green futures.
